Julia graduated from Ryerson University with a Business Degree, specializing in Marketing. However, in a turn of events, her interest in website development led her to pivot into tech early in her marketing career. Before joining Sparkgeo in March 2022, Julia had gained three years of experience as a web developer, in addition to her experience working in tech.
Based in Toronto, Julia is passionate about using her skills to make a positive social or environmental impact, making Sparkgeo a match for her. She loves collaborating with her team to break down complex problems and enjoys the entire software development process, from research and discovery to design and architecture.
In Julia’s spare time, she enjoys many interests, including making music, practicing yoga, bouldering, podcasting, reading, and cooking.
