Mr. Banting provides a strategic vision for the future of geospatial technology and the ideas that underpin Economic, Societal, and Governance goals. He contributes to the leadership in Sparkgeo and leads the Prescient.earth initiative.
James completed his B.Sc and M.Sc in Geography from the University of Lethbridge. He works across many geospatial organizations and at all data and business processing levels. He enjoys community and lives, works, and plays in the Okanagan region of British Columbia.
